 Friday June 7th                     Seward, Alaska

 

 After disembarking the ship on Friday you will have a few hours to explore Seward on your own and check into the Harborview Inn Hotel. The hotel is located in Seward’s' historic downtown and over looks Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Mountains. At noon we will embark on our Resurrection Bay Wildlife Tour with an exclusive visit to Fox Island for an all you can eat Alaskan salmon and prime rib luncheon. In the evening you will have more time to explore and have dinner on your own.

 

 

Saturday June 8th                 Girdwood, Alaska

 

 On Saturday morning, we will have breakfast in town at 8:30am and then visit the Alaska Sea Life Center. The Alaska Sea Life Center is Alaska's only public aquarium and ocean wildlife rescue center, where you can see puffins, sea lion, octopus, and other sea life up close. After this adventure we will check out of the hotel and board our shuttle to Girdwood, Alaska with a lunch stop along the way. In Girdwood we will be staying at the fabulous Hotel Alyeska with plenty of options to continue your family adventure. Later we will visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center where your family can see moose, bears, elk, and many more animals’ native the Alaskan wilderness. In the evening you will have more time to explore and have dinner on your own.

 

 

Sunday/Monday  June 9th/10th      Talkeetna, Alaska

 

 Sunday will take the Alyeska Aerial Tram to the top of Mt. Alyeska.  Conde Nast Traveler rated Alyeska ~ "Best view of any U.S. ski resort." After lunch we will board our coach to Talkeetna, Alaska the town said to be the inspiration behind the television series “Northern Exposure”. We will spend 2 nights at the Resort in Talkeetna giving everyone plenty of time to explore the area.

On Monday we will be taking a tour and exploring the area, more details to come.

 

 

Tuesday June 11th                  Train to Anchorage

 

After breakfast on Tuesday we will embark on a breath taking train ride on the Alaska Railroad to Anchorage, Alaska for flights out. Onboard the Alaska railroad you will enjoy their Gold Star Class of Service onboard the upper level domed railcar. We will dinner in the comfort of the dining rail car complete with picture windows. We will also have access to the private outdoor viewing deck onboard the train – the only one of its kind.


Please contact us before booking your flights. We will return to Anchorage at 8:00pm on the 11th for red eye departures back to  the East Coast.
